Our Mission
Roots with Purpose began in 2021 with the simple act of a hot meal. This one meal has turned into getting to know our unsheltered neighbors in a way that we never imagined.
Our Mission is to share compassion and connection with those who are experiencing homelessness. Creating compassion-centered services to meet our neighbors where they are. Providing a safe and uplifting experience from the first time we hear your name.
We strive in going out into the community to meet our neighbors face to face and offer them a kind and warm smile (and a hug if they are up for it!).
Roots with Purpose is a 100% volunteer run non-profit! We are genuine folks who work hard to make sure those we serve feel valued. We take our time to build their trust and create an understanding that even if we cannot solve their situation immediately, that we are working to help connect them with resources when they are ready to move to the next step!
Our Vision
Our Vision at Roots with Purpose includes creating community-centered spaces to show up for our unsheltered neighbors. In everywhere we go, we work hard to create an inclusive environment where all are welcome!
In Fall of 2025, we will start to build our first mobile food & pantry trailer. This trailer will enable us to show up as one unit to serve hot meals and share day-to-day necessities with those in need.
We expect to have our first pop-up event in March 2026! Please reach out if this initiative resonates with you!
